My Final Oscar Predictions

The road to the Oscars this year has been boring, predictable and lifeless. No doubt the awards show will follow suit. Most of us, even those of us who take a pathetic interest in the Oscars every year, want it be over with as soon as possible. Everybody has resigned to the fact that The Artist is going to win Best Picture. I've never been more certain of anything in my life. The only suspense lingering over the Oscars at this point is if The Artist will sweep or split?

Look at these smug fucks about to win everything.

The only award that I give a shit about this year is Best Actress. If Viola Davis wins, she will be the 2nd woman to win the award in Oscar's 84 year history.

I'm not sure if the Oscars will be broadcast on free-to-air channels in New Zealand, but they are live on Sky Movies from 2.30pm on Monday 28th February.

All of our Oscar rituals, you know, organizing an Oscar party, filling in ballots, is a chore this go around. My final predictions have been a chore too, but here goes:
